Some of the DOC (department of conservation) sites are bookable and it is advisable to do so over the summer period.

contact them ahead of time to book a spot as they are often booked out well in
advance.

- *If you are aged 21-24 or have had your full drivers licence for less than 12 months there is no $0 excess option but the “Stress free” option has a $1000 excess.
